First, wash the green beans and cut them into medium pieces, or use pre-cut ones if you prefer. Heat the olive oil, then add the spices and let them cook for 1 to 2 minutes to release their aroma.

Add the chopped onion and garlic, and stir until the onion softens. Then add the tomato paste and chopped tomatoes, mix well, cover, and let it cook for about 15 minutes.
