  • 2 lbs green beans
  • 1 medium onion (diced small pieces)
  • 3 large tomatoes (diced small pieces)
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon back pepper
  • 4 gloves galic (diced finely)

Instructions

    First, wash the green beans and cut them into medium pieces, or use pre-cut ones if you prefer. Heat the olive oil, then add the spices and let them cook for 1 to 2 minutes to release their aroma.

    Add the chopped onion and garlic, and stir until the onion softens. Then add the tomato paste and chopped tomatoes, mix well, cover, and let it cook for about 15 minutes.

    Next, add the green beans, give everything a good mix, cover again, and let it cook for about 45 minutes, or until the beans are tender but still slightly crisp. Once ready, serve it with rice or fresh bread.
