Saffron Pomegranate Elixir

Ingredients
  • 1 cup pomegranate (juice fresh is best)
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 3 strands saffron
  • 2 tablespoon honey (or sugar to taste)
  • 1 tablespoons rose water (optional)
  • ice cubes
  • mint leaves (optional)

Instructions

    Soak the saffron in 2 tbsp warm water for 5–10 minutes This releases the colour and aroma.

    In a glass or jug: Add pomegranate juice then add saffron (with its water) finally honey and mix well

    Add cold water or sparkling water taste and adjust sweetness Pour over ice garnish with pomegranate seeds and mint and enjoy.
