Halawet El Smeed (Semolina sweet)

Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup semolina
  • 2 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 cup mozaralla
  • 2 tablespoons rose water
  • honey
  • pistachio (for garnish)

Instructions

    In a pot, combine semolina, sugar, and milk. Place over medium heat and stir continuously to prevent lumps.

    Continue stirring until the mixture thickens into a smooth, creamy consistency. Add the mozzarella cheese and keep stirring until fully melted and incorporated.

    Add a small amount of rose water and mix well. Continue stirring until the mixture becomes uniform and slightly stretchy.

    Pour immediately into small serving bowls.

    Drizzle honey over the top. Garnish with crushed pistachios
